The short answer

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or traffic measurement, and shows no advertising. All fonts are served from our own server, and nothing is loaded from third-party servers. There is no form to fill out, so there is nothing to send us besides an email, if you want to.

This page changed on 14 October 2026, and this is the change

Measurement was switched off on that day. From 3 September to 14 October 2026 the site loaded Google Analytics with all storage denied. What follows describes the site as it is now.

What actually happens when you open a page

Your browser asks the server for the page’s files: the text, the typefaces, and the images. Each request passes through Cloudflare to our server at netcup. For operation and security under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the server logs the IP address, time, requested page, referrer, and browser, and deletes those logs after about 15 days.

Everything the page itself is made of comes from this same site. The typefaces are hosted here and are never called from an outside service, and no request goes to another company.

When you download an image

The file moves from the server to your device and that is where it ends. There is no identifier baked into the file, no per-copy watermark, and we will never know who you sent it to.

If you write to us

An email to info@bdaynote.com stays in the inbox for as long as it takes to answer you. It never ends up on a list and is never passed to anyone.

If anything changes again

If this site ever adds advertising, or starts storing anything on your device, this page will say so in the same change, with the date — the way it just did for measurement. A privacy page describing a different site than the one you are reading is worse than not having one.
